Eager to pursue the next stage of my career, I'm seeking the opportunity to learn, partner, influence, lead, and add value within a "stand out" organisation. Ideally in the wine industry, and potentially making use of my interest and experience in hospitality, commercial flair, and wine sommelier skills!I’m currently employed with Next Generation Health and Racquet Club as a casual chef but my primary role has been events coordinator managing the day to day running of all banquet, conferencing, and other events for corporate, community and internal customers. I've therefore had the opportunity to inject my energy, planning skills, commercial experience, and utility or “jack of all trades” talent into the organisation including events management for high profile customers such as the South Sydney Rabbitohs’ Rugby League club.Prior to this, I worked for the Stamford Grand (North Ryde) where I performed a number of supervisory and managerial hospitality roles. Highlights included the introduction of a “voice of the customer” departmental feedback form to better meet the needs of the customers and ultimately improve the performance of the department. I also coordinated events for additional high profile customers such as John Howard, the 2004 New Zealand All Blacks Rugby Union team, and the Australian Swimming squad. During my time at the Stamford, I took 6 months leave to travel and backpack around Europe.I’m highly competent and I have excellent interpersonal skills. I’m enthusiastic, and I have a proven track record of high achievement and success. I’m also relatively extroverted and I actively engage in sport and fitness including running and ocean swimming.In terms of my education, I have both hospitality and tourism qualifications.In summary, I feel my broad ranging hospitality experience, commercial skills, and eagerness to pursue the next stage of my career (ideally in the wine industry) is a diversity well suited to a "stand out" organisation.
