At Simply Business I work in the Outbound department selling Business and Landlord Insurance. Before starting the development of my own business I would often stand in for my manager and run sales training sessions with the department focussing on sales techniques and customer journey. I used to work with our new starters to get them up to speed after their initial training and I worked closely with new starters in my team to help each of them pass their probation. I have ran numerous incentives for both the department and individual teams to increase sales conversion, some of which have resulted in huge increases. I have also been involved in creating the bonus structure along with the scorecards.

I worked front of house in the banking hall greeting customers, promoting digital channels, answering queries, helping with transactions, assisting with ATM machines as well maintaining them and booking appointments. I would also set up banking accounts, home insurance, bonds and ISA's.

In this role I would manage the diary of 5-10 surveyors which consisted of arranging and scheduling their workdays adhering to strict lender restrictions and turnaround times. To do so I would liaise with all departments in all national operations centres and satellite offices alongside banks and building societies etc. as well as clients, agents, applications and vendors. I would also answer telephone queries as well as any other duties required by management, central operations or centre of excellence.
