I have a Masters in Cybersecurity and information assurance from Western Governors University, where I gained theoretical and practical knowledge of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and tools. I am currently working as an Information Security Analyst at DirectViz Solutions, LLC, a leading provider of IT solutions and services to the federal government. My core competencies include cybersecurity, information security, security audits, and remediation.In my current role, I perform routine IA audits on information systems to ensure compliance with IA security controls, evaluate systems for RMF 800-53 controls compliance, and assist in continuous monitoring within eMASS. I also maintain RMF documentation repository, review, edit, and create security documentation, and utilize automated security scanning tools to identify vulnerabilities. I analyze and report findings to technical teams and leadership, research RFIs regarding DISA STIG checklists and regulations, and assist in identifying and remedying security risks. I am passionate about improving the security posture and resilience of information systems and networks, and I enjoy collaborating with stakeholders and partners to achieve this goal.
