Responsible for the MTP Architecture: specification and coordination of mechanical structure subsystem, thermal subsystem, propulsion subsystem and their interfaces. -Requirements specifications of the MTP subsystems, technical areas and all related interfaces within the satellite, ensuring that those requirements are mandatory, concise, properly flown down and formulated.- Monitor the compliance to requirements, with respect to cost, schedule and risks. Preparation of Test specifications, support procedure generation and execution and evaluate test results for requirements verification.- Technical exchange with Launchers for Thermal and Structural topics. Coupled Load analyses / Reduced model exchange.- Interaction with suppliers and follow-up of design reviews of components / parts.

Thermal Subsystem Responsible of Galileo FOC Program. -Thermal Non-Conformances in Engineering and MAIT Topics. -System Level Testing / TVAC Test. -Support during LEOP and IOT special operations. -Design of development models used for feasibility verification and determination of modeling parameters. -Responsible for all Thermal related Documentation: Thermal Analysis, Thermal ICD, Test Specifications, Test Reports, etc. -In-orbit Data Analysis. Support to generation of operational procedures. -Thermal support to new Proposals.

Thermal Engineering Support to Project Galileo FOC: -Definition and execution of Thermal SW testing at System Level. -Support to Milestones achievement and Presentations. -Purchasing Schedule consistent with Serial Production.

-Thermal Design of Spacecraft by means of analytical and numerical methods.-Creation and mantainance of Thermal Mathematical and Geometrical Models of different complexities using Sinda/3D and Thermal Desktop. Work mainly under NASA standards.-Flow-down of Requirements and V&V Matrix.- Supported generation and qualification of integration procedures. Accelerated Life Testing in Thermal or TVAC Chamber.- Definition of TVAC system level tests (Thermal Cycling and Balance) and execution.- Thermal Model correlation based on Thermal Balance Test results.- Defined tasks subcontracted to third parties (private companies and universities). Follow-up and support for the completion of the task.- Support of Launch Campaign activities.- S/C testing facility development and purchase of large scale TVAC chamber. Interaction with the suppliers and participation in the selection process (trade-off between costs, schedule and technical characteristics).

- Prediction of behavior and sensitivity analysis to thermal-hydraulic parameters for different scenarios of operation of OPAL nuclear reactor. - Calculation of kinetic parameters and feedback coefficient for different core configurations for OPAL nuclear reactor.
