    - Dr. Bosisio joined Casa Damiani at the beginning of 1999 where he took up the position of Managing Director of Damiani International with the task of rapidly developing the operational structure on the main foreign markets, after having laid down the lines of a 3-year strategic programme for the Damiani and Alfieri St. John brand names.On the basis of this programme, which contemplated a growth in turnover from 40 to 150 Billion ITL in 3 years, Dr. Bosisio proceeded first and foremost to organise a new sales structure in the key countries and consequently, as early as 1999, he opened the branch office in Japan and a store in Tokyo, signed a distribution agreement for Germany and Holland, prepared the opening of a store in Berlin and organised the opening of the branch office for North America.He simultaneously organised a sales structure for South America, employed salespeople for France, Belgium, England and the Middle East and strengthened the structure in Spain and Portugal.While carrying out his duties as Managing Director of Damiani International, Dr, Bosisio held the office of Corporate Marketing Director for all three of the Group’s brand names – Damiani, Salvini, Alfieri St. John – as well as for a new brand launched on the Italian market in February 2000 which, in its first year of activity produced a turnover of approximately 30 billion ITL. In this area of responsibility he took care of Advertising and Public Relations as well as a corporate image project for all the Group’s brand names.He was also entrusted with the task of organising and managing a “product” creative workshop for all the Group’s brand names. From June 2001 Bosisio leaves his operative assignments and acts as Consultant for the Damiani Family and in particular for the Managing Director, Guido Damiani, with the task of assisting in the delicate switch over from a family business to a managerial business and of preparing the Damiani Group’s quotation on the Stock Exchange.

    Dr. Bosisio was employed as Managing Director of SKG International Holding of Luxembourg, which controls the Companies Superga S.p.a., Eder, K-WAY International. In his function of Managing Director of the SKG Group, he had the task of supervising the development of the two French holdings, being at the same time Board Director of the latter with the objective of selling them within the shortest time possible.Eder was sold with a surplus value of 30% within the space of 18 months and K-WAY on the contrary, due to the severe losses of the previous financial years, was restructured and prepared to be first re-launched and then resold.As Managing Director of Superga, he had the task of re-launching the Company’s historical brand name, developing the turnover in Italy and abroad, opening a mono-brand chain of stores and implementing a product diversification process.After having brought a quick corporate restructuring plan to completion, by reducing personnel by half, re-organising the Italian and overseas marketing network and de-locating the entire production structure to the Far East, Dr. Bosisio devoted himself to re-launching the brand by means of an incisive advertising campaign, diversifying and totally renewing the range of products, extending them both in the area of the core-business, shoes, and in adult’s and children’s clothing, and lastly in sunglasses with a licensing agreement.At the same time he opened a chain of more than 20 mono-brand stores on the basis of a new project, and immediately reversing a trend of dwindling turnover that had lasted for three years, he brought the Company from 100 Billion ITL at the end of 95 to 185 Billion ITL at the end of 1998.

    Dr. Bosisio accepted the assignment with the task of restructuring the old SMH (Omega and Tissot) Italian branch office which was losing 12 Billion ITL out of a 32 Billion ITL turnover and of launching Swatch which had not yet been introduced into the Italian market due to the lousy financial situation of the branch office.After having totally restructured the Company, moving it from Turin to Milan and setting it up from scratch Dr. Bosisio organised a new divisional structure which progressively absorbed all the brands of the Group starting from SWATCH, for which he is still directly responsible, to OMEGA, TISSOT, FLIK FLAK, LONGINES, RADO, BLANCPAIN, PIERRE BALMAIN.In just a few years, in his function as Managing Director and Country Manager, Dr. Bosisio has led SMH Italia to become the Group’s most important branch worldwide in terms of turnover and profit, overtaking the United States of America, Japan and Germany. In 1998 he assumed also responsibility for SWATCH product creation worldwide and set up a creative Workshop in Milan which also deals with watches for the Group’s other brands and Swatch telephones.In 1989 he was appointed World Vice President Marketing Swatch and joined the Board of Directors of Swatch AG taking over the responsibility of world-wide communications, PR, events, R&D and the mono-brand stores project of which he is the inventor.In 1990 Dr. Bosisio joined the Restricted Management Board of SMH and accepted a further assignment of supervising the South American market. In particular, he was in charge of restructuring the Brazilian branch and of building a new plant in Brazil.In 1995 Dr. Bosisio was entrusted with the task of re-launching Swatch in the United States of America, launching the project for sponsorship of the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta.In 1995, before leaving the Group, he signed a Calvin Klein licensing agreement which represented one of SMH’s most successful negotiations in the last few years.
