As the Operations Director of Shireburn Software, I manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the company in the development and support of software solutions for local and international businesses. It is my responsibility to ensure that all runs smoothly and that users are satisfied with the continued use of our software products. These include an array of solutions from accounting to inventory, point of sale, payroll and HR, e-commerce, document management, business intelligence (BI) as well as industry specific solutions for airports, freight and travel amongst others. Together with a strong management team, I am responsible for almost 35 employees, spread across the different functions of the organisation, from software development and support, to sales, marketing, finance and administration. Our core local product, the Shireburn Business Suite, is a leading business software solution across different sectors, and we pride ourselves with top levels of support for our clients. On an international level, our airport solution, Concessionaire Analyzer+ (CA+) is a highly functional product that assists airports with better control and management of their non-aeronautical revenues, with the aim to boost the performance of this sector that is today vital for profitable airport operations. The business intelligence (BI) platform within CA+ allows airports to assess their performance vis-a-vis a multitude of airport KPI's, drastically improving their operations and performance management in the non-aviation sector.
