Since July 2022, I have upgraded to Engineering Supervisor, now having a larger crew of people under my charge in all the hardware engineering disciplines (up to 10 employees in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and robotic engineering).FUNCTIONS:* Coordinate with the Project Managers, by actively participating in management and design meetings from the very beginning of the project to the successful delivery of the project.* Complete the safety risk assessment of the machines, select the safety solutions and devices to use to achieve the required safety level (PL, SIL, etc.) and program and approve the safety firmware of the programmable safety controller (SPLC).* Act as the international standards expert, and thus make sure that the machines respect all required standards according to the location of the client (Canada, USA, Europe or other).* Revise and approve all the electrical engineering documents done for the project (electrical schematics, load calculations, etc.).* Participate actively to the continuous effort of improving and standardizing our systems.* Manage the workload and high-level priorities of the team members.* Manage all the HR tasks associated to the team members (Hiring, performance evaluations, salary increases, etc.)MAIN PROJECTS:* Automated robotic finishing cells (profiling, polishing, deburring, blending and more) for gas turbines parts for several major world-class customers.* Several custom automation projects to help our current customers with their special needs.
