Having most recently headed up the operations of iPackchem's South African operation as Operations Director, I joined Africa Slurry Pump Solutions as Managing Director in January 2023. Decades of experience with companies like Weir Minerals and Pump & Abrasion Technologies, natural curiosity and a personal commitment to life-long learning have schooled me perfectly for this role. As from 2025, my focus shifts to managing the burgeoning project office as well as all technical aspects of the business.My career started in engineering and management consulting before changing direction into various manufacturing enterprises, and more recently general management. My experience and rare blend of conceptual and analytical skills have made me a proficient and rounded engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and management professional.With a questioning nature and highly innovative approach, I have a knack for crafting break-through strategies as well as the drive, determination and team-building skills to implement them. As a result, I have successfully leveraged my dual mechanical and industrial engineering qualifications and keen business acumen in several different industries and capacities. In doing so I displayed versatility, adaptability, and rapid learning, and consistently delivered excellent results.
