Varied, progressive duties in a community-based mental health promotion and suicide prevention program for youth in the Ottawa Region, including the coordination of the local program, the development and decentralization of satellite sites nationally, the coordination and delivery of focus groups and support groups for youth in the Ottawa Region and participation in a pilot project for pre-teen youth, including consultation groups with parents and school personnel. Delivered various trainings and presentations both locally and nationally on the topic of youth engagement, youth-friendly mental health services and suicide prevention. Received trainer training in the Living Works Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST).

Intensive community support for adults living with severe and persistent mental illness, as part of a multidisciplinary team. This position was on a relief basis.

Crisis intervention on the phone and in-person, including short-term residencies and home visits. Trained on the assessment of individuals who may present an imminent risk for self or others, for the purpose of advising on involuntary hospitalization for assessment.
