Expressions and impressions are two key words for me. Emotions are their common point. My paintings and drawings are created along those lines.Another underlying theme is the struggle of human beings to behave as “a social animal” whereas they are often facing loneliness. I play with oppositions: pleasure/ sadness, nice/ugly, detail/fading, colors and tones, … They suggest to the viewer to travel through fading souvenirs and emotions starting from an apparent simple day to day reality.I am deeply convinced that connecting poetry, visual art and literature can create paths to further emotions and sharings. Would it be through the titles of my compositions, or through echoing a poem. I don't deny that painting or drawing is also a gourmet pleasure for me: creating subtil colors, glazing, fading to reveal an expression is also a key mover.
