A unique vision and a strong ethos have always been at the forefront of my ambitions. With these values in mind, I created projects with distinct identities. A website devoted to fantasy, sci-fi and horror, then a website to promote music based on quality over popularity, and more recently, a more laid back site focusing on art house cinema.For ten years, I have curated films and music to offer my vision to the world. I built teams of writers, and patiently helped them build up confidence in their own abilities. I spent hours editing and writing, often giving a voice to those who were not heard.In order to better understand the music industry and the value of local music scenes, I volunteered for a Manchester based PR company and record label, and I helped Sunny Manchester, a music promoter, from its inception. I extended upon this knowledge by working alongside international PR companies, record labels and artists.In order to support myself during my ventures, I gained a lot of experience in administrative roles, fulfilling duties ranging from basic filing, to online marketing, and from database and website management, to ordering and handling stock. And I even tried my hand at teaching.But my passion lies in art, and I love to be surrounded by creative minded people. My knowledge of music and cinema are held in high regard, as I always bring a fresh and unique outlook to those fields. I also enjoy assisting others and gladly offer my time to those I believe in, whether that is designing a logo for a start-up company, or helping to plan and host a small music festival.I recently began a PhD with a thesis looking to study the dynamics between the mainstream and counter cultures. I am also teaching English to University students.
