I became freelance in order to continue developing during my travels. I made presentation and e-commerce websites for my customers. From design to hosting, I had to find the best solutions to match their needs. Besides analyze and development, my services included design & content creation, search engine optimization, support and monitoring.

Libramont

SMAG offers various web applications for the agricultural sector. The office in Libramont develops a web application as well as an iOS/Android solution for farm contractors.I had the dual role of developer and customer’s support manager. As the company was growing, the latter was outsourced to the office in Montpelier and my role was limited to assist them and handling the most difficult cases.As part of the development team, I’ve worked mostly on the web application using PHP, JavaScript/jQuery and MySQL. The type of functionalities I’ve worked on are various and include a file hosting system on Google Cloud, a GPS tracking system, a cartography and land management solution and an agrochemical’s risk and regulation module. The last two use data provided by French and Belgian governments’ API.Using Agile methodology, my dual position allowed me to, knowing the customer’s needs as well as the development constrains, have an important role in the decision process for new functionalitie
