The beginning of the 21st century has seen high-performance sport become increasingly complex. Where once there was a coach who knew it all, today the reality is that there are dozens of fields of expertise to consider. Curiously, little attention is paid to the coaches' ability to learn, even though this is the most important skill for progressing in a complex profession. So the question arises: how can we accelerate the learning of coaches and their teams to maximize their performance? This is the question that has been driving me since 2014. A reflection that began when I was completing my PhD while coaching at the university level. I was constantly doing research to improve my coaching until I realized there was a major gap between science and the field. I then decided to hang up my whistle to help coaches realize their ambitions. This decision led me to collaborate with experts in Australia and Brazil, as well as taking part in conferences in Finland and Japan. Experiences that lead me to believe that coaching is an art informed by science. The challenges you face rarely result from a lack of work ethic or effort, but rather from a deficiency in the systematization of learning. Learning improves adaptability, adaptability influences expertise, and expertise dictates the quality of coaching. My role as a coaching performance advisor is to accelerate the development of coaches by combining my expertise in the art and science of coaching with my experience of working with coaches at professional and international level. I accomplish this in four ways: (1) I coach coaches, (2) I observe their interventions, (3) I lead workshops, and (4) I conduct research.I invite you to take a look at my profile and contact me to get started on initiatives that will help coaches and improve sports performance. In the short term, it's a question of development. In the long term, it's about results.I look forward to hearing from you,Coach Frank
