I am a Biomedical Engineer and Entrepreneur with a passion for creating globally accessible and impactful solutions.I have been involved in various research projects on stem cells, cancer, drug delivery, regenerative medicine, and advanced biomaterials for the past 9 years. Former researcher at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo, Brazil, where I developed my first prototype at 14. I also worked at the Skeletal Research Center with the late Dr. Arnold Caplan (a stem cell legend) studying the interaction between Mesenchymal Stem Cells and Cancer. As the CEO & Co-Founder of Asclepii Inc., I co-created Artemis, a therapeutic platform that will turn a US$30.000 stem cell therapy into US$300. We raised over US$1 MM in non-dilutive funding before I graduated college through strategic international world-class R&D partners and KOLs. Including, for example, the Center for Modular Manufacturing of Structural Tissue at Case Western Reserve University (cm2ost.org), the Instituto Tecnologico de Monterrey, the NSF, the NIH, and the NIBIB.I also co-founded the Medical Technology Group at CWRU, a student organization that provides hands-on community-based learning and incubation support for biomedical engineering projects.

Vice President Of Entrepreneurship & Co-FounderMedical Technology Group At Cwru Feb 2022 - May 2024We identified a significant need for hands-on community-based learning within the undergraduate curriculum, so we created an organization to solve exactly that. Recognized and funded by the Undergraduate Student Government, Case Alumni Association, and Case School of Engineering, we already have 2 ongoing projects creating assistive technology for cerebral palsy patients and facilitating the incorporation of an open-source extension of Slicer 3D for virtual mandibular reconstruction surgery fibula free flap planning.Within the organization, I help oversee all design projects and am responsible for any entrepreneurial support within our incubator. This includes:- Organizing workshops, speaker series, hackathons, and other MTG or entrepreneurship-related events. - Actively seeking connections with industry, academia, and the community to generate job and startup opportunities for MTG members and projects.- Collaborating with MTG Exec, Project Leads, and members in order to provide entrepreneurial support (connecting to funding, resource awareness, advisor assistance)- Seeking external competitions and conferences that are focused more on entrepreneurship rather than strictly engineering design. -
