• Directed combat mission focused and post mobilization training for Army National Guard, Reserve, and Select Active Component medical units deploying.• Restructured operations and the validation process: 98% success rate; 24 organizations, over 1000 personnel validated. • Directed and allocated funding and property worth over $50M; eliminated $20M in costly outdated equipment reducing maintenance and warehouse costs. • Fostered a culture of safety and compliance, developed a biomedical equipment and a ground maintenance service program, improving the equipment readiness rating from 17% to 95% while reducing variance.

• Developed policy recommendations to improve DoD support to the Interagency for disaster preparedness/response for the National Disaster Medical System (NDMS)-Federal Medical Station agreement, NDMS Provider agreement, and the National Veterinarian license portability legislation. • Served as the DoD Homeland Defense Integration Representative for the Republican National Convention (2016); Papal Visit (2016), Nuclear Security Summit (2016); U.S. Department of State’s International Security Events Group-Brazil Olympics (2016) providing requirement validation and DoD support. • Communicated effectively, strengthening information sharing, collaboration, and coordination with the National Security Council, HHS, FDA, DHS, CDC regarding EBOLA and Zika response efforts.

• Led a talented team of 25 building a strategic framework and metrics culminating in a Joint Concept for Health Services to ensure alignment between Global operational requirements versus future capabilities and resources. • Represented the Joint Staff Surgeon on Congressional policies across Global DoD medical activities and programs to reduce cost and improve outcomes; Secretary of Defense Military Health System Review (2014); Military Compensation Retirement Modernization Commission (2015); Military Health System Strategic Plan (2014-2020). • Served as the principal representative to the Military Health System (MHS) Strategic Action Group, inserting and championing operational medicine, emerging capabilities, and the Defense Health Agency on the MHS Strategy Map.• DoD Joint Program Committee-1(Medical Simulation and Information Sciences) JSS representative.
