The solution is named "weartron" and permits to develop apps using:pressure sensor, accelerometers, gyroscope, magnetometer, temperature sensors,any serial and i2C lines, BT devices, etc.The platform can include or not a multi tasking and real time micro kernel depending on the complexity of the application. Even without the micro kernel, the solution is device independent and any devices are handling using a software drivers and a complete internal lib is available to handle some common functions (clock, memory, files, etc.) All apps can be developed using and internal SDK that permits an easy way to interface any devices and to use complex algorithm for sensor libraries.The solution is totally portable over different CPUs and devices.tested on: Atmel ATmega328, ARM Cortex-M, Pic32, etc.The complete solution can work using even 2kb of ram and less that 32kb of flash. Using this platform and one Smart Phone (i.e. android, apple, microsoft) was done two applications respectively for cyclists and runners. Booth are based on one smart sole that include pressure, gyroscope, accelerometer, magnetometer, temperature sensors. The first one is used to have foot pressure profile, the GAITLINE, end many others values (i.e. step counter, calories, etc.).
