    Founder & President
Video Games Without Borders Feb 2015 - Present
    Barcelona Area, Spain
Following my desire to help others and to dive into the nonprofit sector, I dedicated several months studying how video games can contribute to a better world, what was already available on the market. Finally I decided to found Video Games Without Borders (VGWB), a non-profit organization and an international community of people who believe in digital games to change the world for the better. With our community and our partners, we develop games with a strong social impact bringing together talents from both developed and developing countries. In 2015, I spent 6 months in Africa (Burkina Faso) with the goal of developing a game with local artists. Back in Europe, I supervised the development of "Antura and the Letters" (http://www.antura.org), award winning mobile game helping Syrian, Afghan and Ukrainian refugees to learn in their mother language while improving their psychosocial wellbeing. In 2020, during the first COVID lockdown, I coordinated the development of Flatten Island, the game made by volunteers and designed to help fight the pandemic by raising awareness about social distancing and hygiene measures, as well as raising funds for international NGOs.Currently I’m working on the IEEDO project (Increasing and Enhancing Effective Digital Opportunities for refugees and migrants), an EU Erasmus+ project to help adult refugees develop their Digital Self-Learning skills.More info at http://vgwb.org
