FIREYE, Derry, NH 7/2007- PresentTest Engineer Design and program functional test fixtures for flame scanners and controllers using Lab VIEW for automation. Also developing in-circuit test fixtures and programs. Fireye is a designer and manufacturer of industrial and commercial controls for fire safety industry.

CISCO SYSTEMS,Lead Optical Test Engineer • Led a group of test engineers in the development of optical transport product, ONS 15600, an OC-48 and OC-192, 128X128 cross connect switch, holding weekly meetings and emphasizing consistency. • Created and documented entire manufacturing test plan and procedure.• Designed and drafted test facilities for all cards; also detailed/programmed design of optical functional and parametric sets for OC-48 and OC-192 cards.• • Negotiated work with remote teams (hardware and software design and manufacturing), leading four engineers to successfully design and develop all the test processes of a major new product. • Managed work loads, capital requests, and overall test strategies for all the individual pieces, presenting overall test philosophy and individual circuit pack test plans.

LUCENT TECHNOLOGIES • Directed test engineers in the introduction of new multiplexer, WaveStar DMX 2.5G/10G, Lucent’s leading product in the SONET Multiplexer market and the company’s second generation optical SONET/SDH multiplexer used around the world in SONET ring topology.• Developed testing process and flow for WaveStar DMX 2.5G/10G based on field usage.• Collaboratively developed test platforms on a very high volume product that is still being utilized several years later; also continuously enhanced test facilities and mechanisms and accomplished 98%+ first pass yields in all test areas by working with component vendors in Failure Mode Analysis.• Managed and forecasted capital budget of $3 million.
