Editor turned educator activist with 17+ years of decolonizing curriculums and making English classes fun, again. Currently, a Department chair at a small school in NYC and a Teacher Mentor with NYC Men Teach. With my Doctorate in Instructional Leadership, I am seeking a position where I can blend my past editorial and creative experiences with my research on race issues to tell the stories of my people while doing my part to dismantle systemic racism.
