I'm an optimist and believe that progress on our most challenging social issues--poverty, homelessness, immigration, income inequality, discrimination--is possible. In my career, I've worked professionally and as a volunteer on many of these issues, and I've seen progress come most readily when a committed group of people organize, strategize, and act.As Deputy Director at Equality Federation, I do this work in partnership with the leaders of the LGBTQ equality movement across the country. Together, we are fighting for equality in the communities we call home.
