I am a Computer Engineer with over 35 years of hardware, firmware and software development with numerous patents to my name. For the past 12 years, I have focused on Big Data technology and I consider myself a Data Jedi because I enjoy building end-to-end solutions that involve data ingest, Big Data Architecture yielding valuable nuggets of information from vast data resources. I recently joined STARBURST as an Enterprise Solution Architect. In the SA role, I am focused on working directly with customers to ensure their success in gaining insight from their disparate data sources.

As a Senior Solutions Engineer at the "new" Cloudera (merger of the two industry leaders: Hortonworks + Cloudera), I work on architecting solutions for my clients in IoT, Real-Time Streaming, AI, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Big Data, Hadoop, TensorFlow, Zeppelin, NLTK, Hive, HBase, NiFi, MiniFi, REST, Scala, Python, Java, Kafka, OpenCV, OpenNLP, CoreNLP and everything relative to Big Data.

As an SE with Hortonworks, my job is to help your company harness the power and superior business intelligence that can be gained with implementing Big Data into your IT infrastructure using the open source product Hadoop. New systems, business processes and infrastructure were implemented so that corporate assets are protected in the future. Received a bonus cash award for contribution to effort

Provided high level system architecture and program management oversight on next generation development program for a new line of Lottery Vending Machine which offers “Instant Tickets” and the option to place “QuickPick” wages of online games in a self-service KIOSK format. Product will communicate on both a secured private LAN and WAN back to a Central System. Managed the delivery of accurate and regular reporting to stakeholders and insure programs stay within scope, budget and schedule and that they conform or exceed to the marketing requirements and design goals.
