    I played guitar with 8084 from 1982 until the spring of 2001. Original surviving members include guitarist Andre Maquera, lead singer Randy Smith, drummer Gary Spaulding, and me. The band reunited in 2009 to do a mini-tour in support of Randy's solo album, "Bittersweet." An 8084 tour of northern New England followed in the spring of 2011, and the band continues to perform together on a limited basis.

Andre Maquera and Frank Barnes opened the studio in 1994 as a facility in which to record their own music as well as produce other artists. Maquera is chief engineer, producer, and operations manager. Barnes' involvement with West Street diminished considerably after pursuing a career in education, though he maintains 50% of the stock in the corporation.
