Inspected bulk sulfur cargo at Texas International Terminals at The Port of Galveston. Kept continuous written logs of shift changes, lunch breaks, prolonged stops, open and close times of the cargo holds, and any other equipment down times for two crane operators discharging sulfur. Photographed cargo and any cargo irregularities when a hold was opened and when the hold was cleaned out for closing. Gathered sulfur samples in five-gallon buckets which were given to the purchaser for testing and quality assurance. Inspected commercial windmill towers checking for any type of paint damages, dents, and/or any other irregularities to the structure’s surface. Damages were recorded onto log sheets and photographed.
Learned the process of ordering inventory for the next day and restocking the received inventory. Used a computer to ring up orders and charge guest’s tabs to their rooms. Recorded any spills or bottle breaks onto log for inventory tracking purposes. Checked identification to ensure that customers were in compliance with the law.
Trained new employees on the duties of bag valets. Taught junior golfers ages 5-12 techniques of golf. Notified pro shop when to order new necessary items that were running low in the cart barn. Occasionally worked inside the pro shop to answer phone calls, ring up orders for customers on the computer, and help count items for inventory tracking.
