I have taught theater arts and communication at the college level for fifteen years in addition to serving in multiple administrative capacities. Currently I work as an Assistant Dean of Student Support. My background includes considerable experience with change management, development of DEI & B initiatives and management of large events including theatrical productions, award ceremonies, admissions events and commencement exercises. I have taken on leadership roles in faculty governance, strategic plan development and curriculum development. I work with a number of LGBTQ + non-profit organizations and have fundraised over $100,000.00 over the last five years for LGBTQ+ Connecticut Non-Profit Organizations. As a performing artist, host, speaker and panelist I have contributed to community initiatives that transform the lives of marginalized people and defend social justice. My skills related to physical plant and community organization have led me to seek more opportunities in equitable and inclusive space development and curation. I am a courageous leader with managerial courage and an eye for detail. My experiences cultivating collaborative partnerships with community organizations, educational institutions and small businesses have provided opportunities for understanding, problem solving and creative approaches to marketing, assessment and goals setting.
