Prof. Frank Boury, PharmD, PhD degree from University of Paris XI, exerts his professional activity at Polytech ISTIA+ and at the CRCI2NA,team GLIAD, INSERM, University of Angers. From 2008, he is also the vice-director of the doctoral school Biology-Health Doctorate Bretagne Loire. From 2011 he is the coordinator of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Doctorate European Doctorate in Nanomedicine and Pharmaceutical Innovation “NanoFar”.47 international PhDs, including several international summer schools. He is author of around 120 scientific publications. His research is focused on physical-chemical sciences (including colloids and surfaces, supercritical Fluid Technologies (SCF)) and on the development of nano-micromedicine/complex scaffolds for the controlled release of protein and fragile molecules. The targeted applications are cancer therapy (especially Glioblastoma), regenerative medicine (bone, cartilage) and infectiology (MDR tuberculosis)Frank Boury was also Chair of the WG «education&training » European Technology Platform of Nanomedicine (ETPN) and ExBO member.
