Do I want to talk about my years of experience, industry, and skills? No, not really. I've enjoyed a chequered career and the variety it has brought. The army, the theatre are long past. I loved teaching and the vast majority of my pupils and colleagues, even the very naughty ones. If I've helped people along the way, that will do. Having helped to set up the CWGCs Eyes On Hands On programme, building a team of over 500 volunteers across northern England and the Isle of Man, I am resuming furniture restoration full time for Revival in Bishop Auckland. It's good to do things for which you have a passion, to look forward to the day ahead and to the people you work with.
