Has engineered design approval testing sequences and have issued many design approvals for the composite cylinder industry and have performed many required design tests for the composite cylinder industry. As an expert in all cylinder manufacturing standards, has worked with nearly all composite cylinder manufactures issuing design approvals following successful design verification testing. He was present and witnessed the production of the very first Aluminum and composite cylinders manufactured in the US back in the early 1970s. Has also worked in nearly all DOT cylinder manufacturing facilities producing cylinders conforming to specs listed in 49CFR Section 178.36 through 178.71 Has cofounded two DOT approved domestic Independent Inspection Agencies of which there are only nine such agencies approved. Both are still currently working as an approved IIA. Has recently staffed the newest IIA with highly qualified inspection and management staff and is now available to offer services to all cylinder manufacturers and requalifiers, both domestic and international.
