Took over the existing Search Data Ingest program which required quickly learning DevOps techniques such as how to create and manage Jenkins jobs, containerization, and ingesting large amounts of data. Responsible for changes from Development through Production and all deployment steps in between.Continuing to work on the MyOracle Internal Search page UI as well as contributing to the Search Admin Console UI projects as well.

Worked in the Engineering Enterprise division of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure using Javascript and NextJS/React frameworks to develop endpoints for an internal RESTful content delivery and management API. Worked remote and communicated with team members from all around the globe.Also worked with the MyOracle Search team using Oracle JET and React frameworks to move a beta search app into production by contributing to UI and UX changes. Contributed to releases and feature updates. Contributed to a reference app used to sort, filter, and improve search queries on external datasources.

Worked on Graphic User Interface updates and front-end development as well as REST API testing for the Consumer Tech Debt team. Learned to work with Angular, Jasmine, and JBehaves testing suites

Worked on a small team creating the Fuel Usage Study Extended Demonstration (FUSED) program. Team members worked concurrently to write and test interface functionality. FUSED analyzes the effects of fuel-related policy decisions on Navy battlegroups’ fuel usage and time tables. Learned and implemented Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) to make FUSED friendly for users without programming experience. Weekly meetings required the team to deliver briefings to project managers and senior officials within the Energy Academic Group as well as receive feedback and further instruction.

QA tested serious games used to train US Armed Forces officers in current combatting terrorism tactics. Each team member was assigned a game to become proficient at playing in order to familiarize themselves with bugs and potential updates. Learned introductory game-balancing skills as well as presentation and project communication skills. Reported game bugs and comments to game developers through a GIT repository.
