My practice is concentrated in the areas of corporate and commercial real estate matters, including financings, capital formation, development projects, entity governance, workouts and business restructurings, and transactions of various sorts. I advise institutional and individual clients on a myriad of business ventures and goals, and serve as a trusted advisor in furtherance of client goals and on the overall conduct of their businesses pursuits. I have extensive experience with capital formation, project finance and development ventures, with special application in multi-owner and hospitality projects. For many years, I worked on all aspects of leisure-oriented and amenities-based real estate and club projects, including construction and working capital financing, securitized financings, condominium and timeshare registrations, and project development and branding. My experience in vacation ownership involves single and multi-lender financings aggregating well over $1 billion, as well as work with owners’ associations, sales and marketing providers, management companies and other contractors. I am fluent in the areas of land use planning and zoning as well. My workout experience is particularly extensive and includes recapitalizations and dispositions in and out of bankruptcy, multi-party reorganizations, debt restructurings generally and asset management. I also have substantial experience with commercial leasing of office, warehouse and airport facilities, with aircraft leasing and financing, entity governance and operations, and employment and incentive compensation agreements.
