Promoted to take an under performing store and ensure the profitability of the dealership by overseeing the various departments which include variable operations (sales & financing), fixed operations (service & parts), and the business office (marketing, accounting & administration). Duties include, but certainly not limited to, planning, motivating and coordinating the dealership’s management through leadership and solid business practices.

Came aboard to start up a brand new dealership for Quirk Enterprises. The dealership quickly became the #1 VW store in New Hampshire and New England for the last 3 years. Also taking the #1 spot numerous times for the entire Northeast and became one of the Top 50 Dealerships in the Nation the past 3 years!Duties include but are not limited to:-Hiring all management positions, completing performance evaluations regularly and developing short and long-term goals for each department manager (includes administrative, sales, parts, and service departments).-Planning and developing short and long-term goals and objectives along time projections.-Effectively communicating with the controller/office manager on a weekly basis to review departmental forecasts and ensure consistency with annual projections.-Paying close attention to daily operations, recommending and creating improved courses of action where necessary.-Providing dealership management with weekly reports on the financial condition of the dealership.-Assisting sales staff in the negotiations and closing of deals with an bove average closing percentage.-Creating a good working relationship with lending institutions and manufacturer personnel and maintaining these relationships.-Coordinating regular meetings with the managers of each department to ensure their profitability and efficiency.-Overseeing the hiring and training of all department managers.-Creating cost-effective marketing and advertising programs and merchandising strategies for the dealership.-Focusing on any customer issues that department managers are unable to rectify and taking the necessary steps to go above and beyond for our customers.
