Francis Conrad served as a bankruptcy judge for close to fifteen years and he has taught bankruptcy for twenty-five years. Over the past ten years, Frank has provided bankruptcy consulting services, and he has served as a mediator and arbitrator for over five years. Frank assisted in the formation of the ADR program for the SDNY and is a member of its panel. He has also served as a panel member for the ICC International Court of Arbitration. Frank wrote “Bankruptcy Litigation,” a chapter in a book published in the Fall of 2001. He also wrote “Bankruptcy Tax Issues Under the Code Changes” in 2005, he co-authored “Cross Border Bankruptcy Update: Do United States Bankruptcy Courts Have the Final Say” in 2008, and he was a contributing editor for a bankruptcy treatise from 1994 until 2004. Frank has been a fire fighter, emergency medical technician, and fire and EMT instructor since 1972; he is also a published poet.
