After analyzing the NFL draft since 1967, created a research service for pro teams, agents and the media in 1987. NFL Draft Scout tracks football players from the time they are recruited until they are drafted or no longer eligible for college football. That amounts to a rotating list of approximately 12,000 players at any one time. In 1997, Hall of Fame coach Bill Walsh came aboard and NDS created its first web site. In 2000, little known draft savant Brian Hitterman took charge of managing analysis. In 2009 Rob Rang became Sr. Analyst and was later joined by Dane Brugler. NDS' clients have included 21 NFL teams, numerous agents and provided content for the NFL and NFL.com as well as Yahoo, USA Today and Sports Weekly. For the past decade NDS was available via CBSSports.com. In June of 2017, NDS left CBS and partnered with the Pro Football Hall of Fame. A new digital presence is under construction.
