Senior Engineer I specialized in developing FAA/USN complaint computer system for Communication, Navigation, Surveillance and Air traffic management systems (CNS/ATM). My focusing primarily in airspace integration, positioning and flight management systems. During this tenure I • develop systems, architectures, and integrated test environments for the full suite of avionics systems. These include inertial, global and hybrid position solutions navigation aids and landing systems, navigation flight management systems tracking systems, communication systems and USN carrier operations• developed real time software-intensive models and simulations of these systems and environments which combined with real subsystems allowed dynamic man in the loop testing. • studied how remotely operated aircraft's "conflict avoidance" and "collision avoidance" system would work.• developed human machine interfaces that satisfied CNS/ATM operational requirements. • developed kinematic algorithms in support of and exploiting of data from these CNS/ATM subsystem.• as subject matter expert for CNS/ATM systems I often lead teams of engineers during various stages of development.
