This role is part of a team of investigators that are engaged in activities designed to maximise compliance with Victorian revenue law(s). This role is responsible for the conduct of more complex/sensitive audits and investigations than those conducted by Grade 3 Investigators, with minimal guidance and across multiple revenue lines. This role seeks guidance from Grade 5 Principal Investigators on highly complex issues and investigation cases.This role plans, leads, conducts, monitors and reports on complex investigation activities and associated actions. This role also provides guidance and mentoring to Grade 3 Investigators on audits and investigations.

The Senior Customer Service Officer will undertake tasks that support the administration of various tax revenue line/s including updating and maintaining the customer database, reaching agreed key performance indicator targets (KPI’s) and supporting the delivery of effective and efficient customer services.The Senior Customer Service Officer will support the activities of the team by providing authoritative advice and guidance on areas of technical and professional expertise using legislation to guide decision making. The role will undertake quality checks and provide training to ensure a coordinated customer services approach.
