I am a husband and father first, and I take pride in that foundation. As an AHA-certified trainer and business owner of CPR Courses International LLC, a certified training site with the American Heart Association based in New York and Connecticut, I have led various life-saving courses. These range from basic CPR/AED and Basic First Aid (BFA) to advanced BLS/ACLS and PALS sessions, conducted at institutions such as Jacobi Hospital, Mount Sinai, and the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. In addition to my role with the American Heart Association, I serve as a bilingual Level 5 Instructor with the American Safety and Health Institute, working closely with the United Federation of Teachers Daycare Provider’s Chapter to equip childcare providers with essential life-saving skills. Recently, I’ve been fortunate to partner with PACE University, Lehman College at CUNY, and Columbia University’s Teachers College, where I help aspiring healthcare professionals secure their certifications and contribute to capacity-building initiatives.My earlier experience as a Community School Director with the United Community Schools initiative, stationed at the International School for Liberal Arts in the Bronx, shaped my commitment to making a positive impact on families and communities.I live by the words of Muhammad Ali: "Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth."
