I am an engineering & construction consultant with over 10 years of combined experience in the construction industry and the forensic engineering field, which includes analysis of structural, building envelope, mechanical and plumbing systems of commercial and multifamily residential structures. As a consultant at MC Consultants, Inc., I have worked on a wide variety of property loss claims, construction defect matter, analyzing scopes of work and developing cost estimates for repair and replacement.My construction consulting experience includes projects throughout the United States. Consulting activities have included investigating the cause and extent of damage to structures as well as investigation of construction defect claims while preparing a scope of remedial work and cost estimating.Previous experiences include assisting in the preparation of cause and origin reports for structural failures; roofing failures; stucco and wall system failures; mechanical system failures; and plumbing failures. I have developed scopes of work and cost estimates for remediation of damage. I have also assisted in preparation of designs for foundation repair systems, including underpinning and pressure grouting.I have gained firsthand construction experience as a labor foreman. My responsibilities included supervising an average of 8 to 30 workers per day, delegation of work to be performed, assisting in construction scheduling and performing inspections of completed work.
