I have been heavily involved in freelance and contracted photography and graphic design since 2007, and have become an expert in Adobe design programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. Having hosted karaoke and been a DJ with a large entertainment company in the Washington DC metro area, I have learned what the industry standards and trends are when it comes to advertising, promoting, and designing, and have learned to work quickly and efficiently, while still maintaining a unique creative element throughout my work. It is my belief that artists (whether photographers, designers, web designers, etc.) are everywhere. Credentials and experience matter greatly, but some of the most phenomenal artists I've seen could have a minimum wage job, having never taken a single art class. I like to employ the creativity and harness the drive of many of these untapped geniuses among the community by bringing them on board to many of my design projects, because I would like to share my success with them, as well as add more creative diversity to my clients' projects. I am constantly looking for new ways to help new and up and coming artists discover their potential, and better their resumes, their portfolios, themselves, and gain real world experience by their contributing to Eastflower. As opposed to large corporations and big design firms, my goal as Eastflower is to give back to my clients by keeping my rates substantially lower; and letting them know that their money is going to the community by helping these students and artists make money and grow, while still being able to unlock their creative genius, network, and establish their foundations as young professionals. It is my belief that a truly successful business is one that benefits from, and helps to benefit everyone involved with them.
