About Frank Deasy

I have successfully directed large and small projects involving program management and the production of reports, plans, specifications, estimates and presentations. My expertise includes intelligent transportation systems (ITS), Connected Vehicle systems, tolling systems, telecommunication networks management and design, traffic engineering, traffic operations, signalization and freeway traffic management. I provide extensive experience in managing the design, development, and operational implementation of traffic management and traffic control systems. My projects have involved program management, planning and design, system integration, construction engineering, telecommunication outside plant design, traffic signal system design, operations and management and public agency program and staff management.My experience from 1999 to 2017 was performed as continuous service to the Florida DOT ITS Communications Program by 4 different firms as noted below. I expanded the team as necessary over the years to meet the workload required by FDOT.

Planned, designed and implemented an enhanced ITSFM training program, migrating some training elements to computer-based training.-- Manage the support of Florida’s Turnpike and their program to upgrade, repair and replace 19 radio towers located along the mainline and HEFT.
