Freelance API/Integrations architect since 2019, after 20+ years as a small business owner, were I had the combined roles of director, hr, architect, team manager, data analyst and software developer. After starting my career as a software developer for the Amsterdam Stock Exchange, I started my own business at the age of 26, focused on building enterprise systems, apps and data engineering projects. Clients include(d) Dell (Global Supplier status for 15 years), ING bank, TBWA, Axway, Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate (Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management). The business was based in Holland and Spain with staff ranging from 5-15 employees. As cofounder, I ran all aspects of the business; business development, managing staff, operations, architecture and hands on coding. In 2017, I sold the Spanish branch but still maintain the Dutch entity from which I now operate as a freelance consultant. Currently I work in a mixed role as an Axway API/Integrations consultant and as an ERD modeler/Register and API designer, in a consultancy role at the ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management (dep.
