About Frank Dowling, Md

Addition and Psychiatric Medicine Practice, special interest in caring for law enforcement and other emergency responders, physicians and other healthcare professionals. Active in MSSNY/AMA, NYSPA/APA, NYSAM/ASAM on public health issues including access to addiction and mental health care and addressing inequities for docs and patients from minoritized and disenfranchised groups. Clinical research and publications related to chronic mood disorders, overlap of traumatic stress and other conditions. Collaborative care with other professionals both in our practice and outside, in patients' best interests. Remaining current regarding care options and best practices, while always treating each patient individually. Psychiatric care is a collaboration with each patient based on their unique needs and goals. While we don't accept insurance plans because we don't want anyone betting between us and our patients, we are always happy to help a patient seek reimbursement from their plan.
