• Setup and parameterization of standard job flows used during processing sequence before the start of new survey, using client specified survey information.• Verify accuracy and completeness of the Observers and Navigation logs related to the received data.• Grid creation from project specs using Nav-Tool and grid QC to check X/Y co-ordinates are correct.• Perform seismic data processing according to the processing sequence agreed with the client representative or from a survey contract.• Produce paper and electronic format plots and other data visualization as required by the contract and on Client Representative Request.• Communicate constructively with the Client’s Representatives; provide them with the required information, making sure that their needs are met.• Communicate with Observers, Source and Navigation departments about discovered problems with data and ways to eliminate the problems and improve the data quality.• Report data quality problems to Chief OpsGeo.• Tape production for delivery to clients.• Transmit QC data to shore via satellite communication system.• Barnacle denoise testing in areas of barnacle growth for line acceptance.• Involved in deployment and retrieval of streamers.

Part of a team of Processors on board BGP Prospector for the 4D seismic survey on the TEN Fields offshore Ghana.• Receive data on magnetic tapes or other recording media or via network from the Observer Department.• Verify the accuracy and completeness of the Observers and Navigators logs related to the received data.• Download the data into the processing system and control data recording quality during the process.• Perform seismic data processing according to the processing sequence agreed with the client representative or from a survey contract.

Geophysics DepartmentRoles: • Involved in a team in designing data acquisition plans and pre-plan projects before going on site. • Involved in a team in acquiring 2D seismic survey on land. • Interpreting and mapping of 2D and 3D seismic data and interpreting well logs using petrel and IHS kingdom as interpretation software. • Worked closely with Senior Geophysicists to conduct the geophysics work on various field. • Assisted in compiling charts and reports. • Attending meetings, presentations and training on oil and gas. • Perform various duties as assigned by staff.

• I had the chance to work as part of a team to meet deadlines. This opportunity gave me the chance to gain excellent knowledge on feasibility studies, as well as hone my numerical and analytical skills.
