Created and maintained organization's brand, managed external partners and vendors, served as organizational media spokesperson and held accountable for fiscal maintenance of departmental budget.

Managed marketing, advertising and internal/external communications for health system, its products, services and subsidiaries to grow market share. Calculated market demand and market potential, identified market competition, formulated marketing mix and developed service delivery strategies. Led all major strategic efforts for the system, including development of organization’s annual strategic plan, leading merger and acquisition teams, construction services and real estate and sustainable planning.

Managed team of nine professional-level staff for 500-bed, two-hospital health system, with responsibilities in the areas of internal/external communications, service line marketing, community health education, community benefit reporting, and web/social media marketing. Reported directly to chief strategy and business development officer and worked in cooperation with strategic planning and business development departments to achieve unprecedented three percent increase in overall system market share within three-year period. Oversaw launch of two major advertising campaigns for heart and vascular and cancer service lines for flagship hospital, as well as branding/image building campaign for health system’s sister hospital, resulting in seven percent decrease in surgery outmigration. Identified by executive team as top performer and one of 10 of organization’s high-potential leaders from a group of 115 mid-level managers in the areas of influence, leadership, and results.
