General Manager • Oversee and manage rice milling and packaging facility, including managing employees and department heads of the following departments:o Field department, milling, packaging, quality control, maintenance, shipping, and receiving, book keeping. • Scheduling of raw product to co-ordinate with sales department, milling, extensive packaging and shipping schedules

• Contact to growers over eight counties contracting rice for market, creating and maintaining professional relationships • Manage grower truck program consisting of scheduling, pickup and drop offs of finished product at dryers and mills (20-100 truckloads daily)• Liaison between rice mills and area rice dryers to schedule deliveries.

• Overseeing, managing, problem-solving for approximately 100 employees/three shifts. • Rice milling facility coordination over 100 trucks in and out bound and milling finished rice for export markets.

• Plant Superintendent: Overall supervision of facility from 12/95 to 3/97. Responsible for running of all departments.• Purchasing for entire facility: Prune Processing plant, including packaging materials, corrugated boxes, machinery, etc. Duties also include running down various parts at local parts houses and purchasing all items except fruit.• Safety Program: Implementation of general safety training program at all levels. Coordinate shipping and receiving documentation and putting together loads.• Inventory Control: Using D-Base IV, an up to the minute inventory of all raw products and finished goods in-house.• BIT Program: CHP Bi-annual inspection of terminal for company trucks and trailers. Duties include record keeping of service and maintenance manuals as well as documentation of driver's pull notice program for the Department of Motor Vehicles.• Production Reports: Using Lotus 1.2.3 providing a daily profit and loss report of five production lines in processing facility.
