Having traveled the USA extensively, Mr. Geiger currently resides on the Delaware Bay in Cape May, NJ. He earned a BS degree from Southern Colorado State University and an MFA from Wichita State University. He worked as a probation officer in NJ for 25 years and taught boxing at the police academy for 12 years. His writing runs the gamut from off-beat and quirky to mainstream. An ironic sense of humor resonates throughout his work, like a rosy crucifixion. In October of the same year, A WONDER CHILDHOOD was a featured Post of the Month. In 2021, Spillwords carried AN INTERVIEW WITH MYSELF, as well as the first chapter of a new novel titled BLACK GIRLS DON'T GET HICKEYS. This February 2023, the first chapter of his novel, FREEFALL, was carried by Spillwords, again as the Featured Post of the Month.
