Residents of Grant County’s Dekalb Township,Thank you for electing me to serve as your constable. One reason I ran for this office was that several of my neighbors have had items stolen from their property. Petty (and not so petty) theft is a real problem in rural areas and small towns. So if you’re going to be away from home for a while and would like to have the constable drive by your property, feel free to give me a call. More than twenty years’ experience in the military and in private security makes me believe that having this kind of presence in our neighborhoods is a good deterrent to those who might want to steal a four-wheeler, your tools or anything else.Constables are unpaid in these parts, so I have a full time job.
