-Taught in-person and online courses in statistics, co-requisite statistics, quantitative reasoning, co-requisite quantitative reasoning, and arithmetic to students from diverse mathematics backgrounds.-Developed original content for teaching co-requisite statistics courses.-Presented on co-requisite materials and open educational resources during faculty meetings.

Achieve in Math (AIM) is a three-week summer program that strengthens students' arithmetic and algebraic math skills so that they are better prepared for college-level courses.My duties were:-Taught arithmetic during the summers to prepare students for a college course placement test.-Created computer-based homework problem sets through MyLab Foundational Skills for students.-Provided tutoring and mentorship to students outside of class.

Institute participants spent five weeks learning about a range of issues pertaining to race and equity with the goal of developing professional skills and pedagogy to actively fight racism through their work as faculty. Learning objectives include gaining an understanding that all STEM teaching is racialized and developing a project that will expand anti-racist pedagogy. With the aim of reducing opportunity gaps within higher education faculty participants learned about strategies to support the success of first-generation and underrepresented students navigating STEM subjects.

Served as an instructor for the Options Through Education (OTE) Transitional Summer Program. The mission of the Options Through Education Scholars Transitional Program is to prepare a select group of diverse scholars who have demonstrated excellence and leadership in spite of challenging educational, personal, and/or financial circumstances. This program nurtures student’s academic, social, cultural, and spiritual development during their four years at Boston College and beyond.
