Responsible for the initiation, development, and engineering of sustainability (energy) projects at Vopak Terminal Vlissingen and Vopak Terminal Vlaardingen. Main projects & associated roles include:Project Manager:- Pilot project for a liquid bulk shore power system with the Port of Rotterdam and Stolt-Nielsen- Development of a heat buffering system to allow for load balancing- Developing an Energy Monitoring Tool for our LPG terminalProject Engineer Process:- Replacing LPG fired boilers for a seawater heated system at our LPG terminal- HAZOP (reviews)Furthermore, responsible for:- The development of the Sustainability plans of the Vlaardingen and Vlissingen terminals- EU ETS processes- Legally required sustainability reporting: EED, "Energiebesparingsplicht"- Executing internal audits (9001 certified) on sustainability topics

Joined the Vopak Management Traineeship as a Technical Improvement Officer at Vopak Vlaardingen. Responsible for:- The Maintenance OPEX budget - Continuous improvement of the Maintenance department- Organisational Process improvements- Implemented a new Permit to Work system as Change Manager- Key User for the EAM system and Permit to Work system- Greenbelt assignment to design and implement a new Low Risk Work Instruction systemAdditionally, occupied a second full-time position as Maintenance Scheduler for 8 months. Responsibilities included:- Managing the Maintenance Workorders- Resource Planning of internal employees and external contractors- Planning outages with various other departments

Worked as a Teaching Assistant for courses on Physical Transport Phenomena on both Bachelor and Master level courses. Main roles included guiding students during seminars and grading exams.

Optimising and assisting the sustainability and sustainable subsidy process within Vopak by:- Developing a tool to quickly identify subsidy opportunities in large CAPEX projects- Interacting with the Dutch RvO and consultant PwC to discuss complex subsidy applications- Aided in developing the 2030 CO2 roadmap and abatement curve for Vopak terminals Vlaardingen, Europoort, Vlissingen and Linkeroever
