In January 2023 I celebrate a significant anniversary in my professional life, and I see it as an opportunity to look back as well as to express my gratitude for all that I have had the privilege to experience, and to thank the people by my side without whom all this would not have been possible. It hasn’t always been a smooth ride, but it has been an exciting and rewarding one. As with any long-term commitment, there have been good times and challenging times, but the positives have always outweighed the negatives. I have matured and developed along with the company, and I’ve learned a lot along the way. I have grown as a leader; I have motivated and inspired others and, in turn, I have been inspired and motivated by them, because growing a company is not a solo trip, it is a group adventure! I am extremely proud of my team, people who have been by my side, some since the beginning, 20 years ago, or for over 10 or 15 years. I am deeply grateful for business partners, customers, and colleagues whom I can also call friends!Being part of a multinational company has meant experiencing the uniqueness of each country where STRAX is active, adapting to it, and, in the process, getting to know so much, not just about each market, but also about the different business cultures. I have learned new languages and built strong relationships across borders. This enriching experience of constantly adapting to new challenges and situations is what drives me to this day!20 years with one company is a long time, but, at the same time, I feel like this is still only the beginning and so much lies ahead. There is still so much to do, so much room to grow, so many new opportunities to seize. I would like to thank all partners, customers and colleagues for their trust and support throughout the years and I am looking forward to seeing where the adventure takes us in the next 10 years!
