I have a diverse background within telecom industry including splicing, troubleshooting and cable acceptance testing, I have designed and engineered fiber, special circuits and POTS, and have worked in very diverse areas ranging from urban to very rural. I understand Google Earth and worked with KMZ files, I’ve used GIS and some AutoCAD. In previous positions I have managed up to 140 employees. It is a great job filled with unique challenges for sure.

Managed multi-million dollar projects throughout the United States, from Maine to S. Carolina and West. Managed the institution of the “Emergency Alert System” for TW Cable along with the disassembling of the TW Microwave systems in Michigan and Washington State.

While at Verizon I did extensive Project Management. As a Design engineer my primary function was to over-see the day-to-day operations in 11 territories throughout Central NY. I typically managed 30+ jobs ranging from a few thousand dollars up to one million plus. I could design and build a job up to $50k on my signature alone. A Network engineer is the big picture, long range developer of land communication requirements, utilizing the best technology for the customer and Verizon while still maintaining budgetary considerations. My territory was approx 300 sq miles. I have extensive customer service experience which equated to the avoidance of many complaints to the Public Services Commission (PSC). In fact this was so true if our department had an irate customer my manager would give it to me. While working for Circle K as a multiple store manager I took two stores that were slated for closure and reversed them to become high profit solid stores still operational today. That was solely based on customer service; I changed the people’s perception of the stores. My creed is, “The customer is the customer” meaning there is nothing more important!

A few of my accomplishments include: saving one company $40,000 annually and the renegotiation of many prices on various components, writing numerous Standard Operating Procedures and Job Safety Analysis. What's more, I had a key role in their implementation and registration of ISO 9001. Some of my Management experience lies in overseeing a newly developed division. As the Facility Dispatcher I directed the planning, scheduling, organizing and safety of an injection molding department and its assembly in a company that bills $90 - $96 million annually and managed approx 140 employees. . This company typically runs not only established products, but is continually developing new lines as well as researching new materials.
