Provides strategic vision for Information Technology Enterprise Operations and ensures daily tactical operational success of complex, mission-critical information systems that process over 260M tax returns and other forms, while delivering more than $641.7B in refunds. Supports the planning and directs the work of ~2,000 geographically dispersed staff at 11 Campuses, and more than 100 post of duty locations. Leads the daily execution and operations of tax Filing Season computing requirements, data security and management, operational policy, governance, systems maintenance, acquisition, and testing. Provides 24x7 operations of mainframes, more than 10,000 servers and management of ~$500M annual budget. Serves as adviser to the Associate Chief Information Officer and Chief Technology Officer.

Responsible for the building, security, maintaining and operational support for Internal Revenue Service data management, compute, storage infrastructure and backup services for critical tax processing systems and fraud detection.
